Whole Wheat Donut Hotcakes


  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 pack MAYA Think Heart Whole Wheat Pancake Mix 200g
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 piece egg
  • 3/4 cup water


  1. Make cinnamon sugar. Mix together white sugar and cinnamon powder in a shallow bowl. Set aside.
  2. Mix pancake mix, oil, egg and water in a bowl until slightly lumpy.
  3. Scoop out 1/3 cup of pancake batter in a preheated non-stick pan. Cook until bubbly then flip to cook the other side.
  4. Using a large piping tip, make a hole on the center of the hotcake to make that “donut” look.
  5. Dip in cinnamon sugar to coat. To coat it easier, try brushing the pancakes with melted butter. Serve.

Yield: 5 donut hot cakes.
