Summer is the most anticipated time of the year at The Maya Kitchen. It’s around this time that our premises comes alive with boundless energy that only hungry and boisterous teenagers can bring.
As always, this year’s fun-filled camp allows our young chefs to discover essential kitchen skills and master the fundamentals of cooking alongside their peers.
At The Maya Kitchen Teen’s Culinary Series, our young adults will enjoy, experience, and immerse themselves in the wonderful world of culinary arts with the following activities:
Day 1: Going Japanese
- Chahan (Japanese Fried Rice)
- Gyoza
- Tonkatsu paired with Shredded Cabbage and Roasted Sesame Dressing
- Fluffy Japanese Cheesecake
Day 2: Adventures with Yeast and Pasta
- Pizza (Pepperoni and Hawaiian)
- Pasta Amatriciana
- Doughnuts and Fun Fillings
Day 3: Party Day
- Buttermilk Fried Chicken
- Potato Salad in Lettuce Beds
- Rainbow Cupcakes
- Brownies three ways
Day 4: Cook-Off Challenge
The first batch of The Maya Kitchen Teen’s Culinary Series is from April 25 to 28, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., while the second intake is May 16 to 19. Fee is Php 7,000 inclusive of recipes, ingredients, and materials.
