Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons yeast
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 cups sifted MAYA Cake Flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • salted egg or grated cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare a steamer and several small muffin pans.
  2. Dissolve yeast in water.
  3. Combine flour, sugar and baking powder.
  4. Pour in dissolved yeast. Set aside.
  5. In a bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Add sugar and continue beating until stiff. Fold in the yeast mixture.
  6. Pour into pans then let ferment for 10-20 minutes. Top with slices of salted egg or grated cheese.
  7. Steam for 10-15 minutes. Brush with butter before serving.
