Pasta Salad

INGREDIENTS

1 recipe homemade pasta or
1 500–gram pack twisted pasta, cooked al dente
100 grams sweet ham, cut into strips
100 grams cheese, cut into strips
1 medium–size onion, sliced

Dressing:
1 cup vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon sugar
salt and white pepper to taste

PROCEDURE

Toss together the pasta, ham, cheese and onion in a salad bowl. Chill.

In a jar, combine the vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. Cover the jar then shake. Pour over the salad just before serving time. Toss to coat.
