Okonomiyaki

Ingredients

Batter:

  • 200 grams MAYA All-Purpose Flour
  • 250 ml water
  • 1 packet Japanese dashi powder
  • 2 pieces eggs

Meat:

  • crab sticks and bacon
  • half cabbage shredded

Topping:

  • Japanese sauce otafuku
  • dried fish flakes katsuboshi
  • Japanese mayonnaise
  • dried seaweed flakes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix all batter ingredients. Fold in shredded cabbage and desired meat.
  2. Oil your frying pan, then pour about ½ cup of the mixed batter, then top with bacon. Cook for 3-5 minutes.

  3. Flip and cook another few minutes as you would a pancake.

  4. Place the okonomiyaki on a plate, top with sauce and mayonnaise, then sprinkle with fish and seaweed flakes

  5. Serve.
