Mango Turnovers


1 pack MAYA Original Hotcake Mix 200g
4 tablespons water
mango jam for filling


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a bowl combine hotcake mix and water. Mix until it becomes dough. Roll out dough into thin sheet. Cut into square using cookie cutter. Put a little of the filling at the center of the dough. Fold in half then seal edges with the fingers or using the tines of the fork. Transfer to baking sheets and bake for 20 minutes or until golden.

    I tried this recipe and it was great! and then I also tried some variations, used tuna for the filling,turned out bread-like and it was sooo yummy. this is good.

      Hi! Yes, it’s ok to fry the Mango turn-over. Deep frying or shallow frying will do. Make sure to use thick filling and please fully seal the turnovers.
