Honey Mug Cake

Ingredients

Cake:

  • ¼ cup MAYA All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoons pure honey
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 piece egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix all cake ingredients until just combined. Divide the cake mixture into two 4 oz. ramekins or one 10 oz. mug.
  2. Microwave on high for 90 seconds to 2 minutes, watching to make sure it doesn’t spill over (depending on the size of the mug).
  3. Let cool one minute before eating. Top with whipped cream and more honey - optional.
  4. Serve immediately.

Yield: (1) 10 oz. mug or (2) 4 oz. ramekins
