Homemade Pasta


2 cups Maya All–Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 whole egg, beaten
4–5 tablespoons water


  1. Sift the flour and salt together in a bowl.
  2. Add the beaten egg and enough water to moisten.
  3. Form into dough and knead until smooth.
  4. Allow to rest for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Roll out to approximately 1/8–inch thick.
  6. Cut the dough into strips.
  7. Cook in boiling water to desired doneness. Drain.
