Garlic Fried Rice
- 2 to 3 tablespoons oil
- 2 to 3 tablespoons garlic minced
- 5 to 6 cups cooked rice
- salt or fish sauce to taste
- pepper optional
In a deep-frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Sauté garlic until golden brown, get at least 1 tablespoon of toasted garlic and reserved for toppings.
Add cooked rice. Stir-fry rice until it completely absorbs the oil and the toasted garlic is mixed with rice.
Lower down the heat continue stir-frying the rice until it’s a little bit dry and loose.
Turn off the heat, serve garlic fried rice in a serving plate, top with reserved toasted garlic.
Yield: 5 to 6 servings
