Caramel Icing

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup MAYA All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk      
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. In a sauce pan, allow sugar to caramelize until golden brown.
  2. Add flour to caramelized sugar and cook over low fire.
  3. Gradually add in milk. Stir until thick, and coats the back of the spoon.
  4. Add butter and vanilla extract.
