Baked Red Velvet Donuts
For the donuts:
- 1 piece medium-sized egg
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 pack MAYA Decadence Red Velvet Cake Mix 400g
For the glaze:
- 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
- 1/8 cup fresh milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven at 350⁰F/177⁰C. Grease and lightly flour a donut pan
In a medium-sized bowl, mix eggs, melted butter, buttermilk and red velvet cake mix. Mix well, until there are no lumps.
Place donut batter in a pastry bag and fill the prepared donut pan
Bake for 7-9 minutes or until tops are set and dry.
For the glaze: mix all ingredients in a small bowl, adding the milk gradually.
Pipe or dip the donuts in glaze. Let it set for about 15 minutes. Serve.
