INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cup
MAYA All-Purpose Flour
3/4 cups old fashioned oats
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
12 pieces whole almonds
12 teaspoon peanut butter
PROCEDURE
Pre-heat oven to 350F. Grease and line two cookie sheets. In a small sauce pan melt butter. Remove from heat. Set aside.
In a medium bowl mix both sugars, egg and vanilla together. After that is combined mix in melted butter.
Blend oats, flour, salt and baking powder. Once dough has come together, refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Once the dough has chilled a bit, remove from refrigerator and using a small ice cream scooper, place each cookie dough ball on cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.
Push an almond into the center of each cookie dough ball. Dollop a tsp of peanut butter on the top of each almond.
Bake for 12-15 minutes.
