Ginger Soy Chicken And Broccoli
Ingredients
For Chicken Strips:
- 500 grams chicken fillet cut into strips
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup MAYA All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup MAYA Cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 pieces eggs
- 1 ½ cup panko bread crumbs
- oil for frying
- 1 bunch broccoli blanched
For Ginger Sauce:
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 3 tablespoon sugars
- 1 tablespoon ginger grated
- 1 teaspoon black pepper ground
Instructions

Season chicken strips with salt and pepper.

In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder. Set aside

Beat eggs in a separate bowl. Set aside.

Heat oil enough for deep frying, in a medium-sized pot, over medium heat.

Dredge chicken strips into the flour mixture, then dip it into the beaten eggs, then dredge it into the panko bread crumbs. Repeat procedure until all the chicken strips is breaded.

Fry chicken into the preheated oil, fry it until golden brown. Set aside

For the Ginger sauce: In a sauce pot, mix all the ingredients and mix well. Let it simmer for about 1 to 2 minutes or until the sugar is melted and the sauce slightly thickens.

Assembly: Toss the chicken strips and broccoli into the ginger sauce, until everything is well covered with ginger sauce.
