Devil’s Food Reveal Cake
Ingredients
For cutouts:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
- 2 pieces whole eggs
- ½ cup water
- 1 pack MAYA Oven Toaster Butter Cake Mix 200g
- Pink food coloring as needed
For cake:
- 1 pack MAYA Decadence Devil’s Food Cake Mix 550g
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 2 pieces eggs
Icing:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- Pink food coloring as needed
- ½ cup prepared chocolate ganache
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F/177C. Grease and line a 9x13-inch rectangle cake pan and a 7-inch round pan. Set aside.

Prepare butter cake batter according to package instructions. Pour in the rectangle cake pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until baked. Let cake cool completely.

Using heart shaped cookie cutters, cut small hearts from the cake.

Prepare devil’s food cake batter according to package instructions. Pour half of the batter on the round pan, arrange cut out hearts then pour the remaining cake batter.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until baked.

Set aside cake to cool.

In a bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form. Color the cream with pink food coloring.

Spread icing onto cooled cake. Decorate with chocolate drip as desired.

Slice then serve.
