Cereal Prawns
Ingredients
- 10 pieces tiger prawns
- 2 pieces eggs
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons MAYA All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tablespoons MAYA Cornstarch
- 1 cup corn flakes cereal slightly ground
- 2 tablespoons milk powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 20 pieces curry leaves / basil leaves
- 3 pieces red chilies
Instructions

De-vein prawns. Set aside.

In a medium sized bowl, beat eggs and add salt and pepper.

Toss the prawns to the beaten eggs, and add flour and cornstarch. Mix well, until the prawns are well covered.

Deep fry the egg coated prawns for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until the prawn changes its color to red orange. Set aside.

In a bowl, mix cereal, milk and sugar. Mix well, and set aside.

In a separate pot, melt butter, then add the leaves and the chilies. Cook for a minute, or until crispy then add the cereal mixture, mix well.

Toss the fried prawns to the cereal mixture until well coated.
