INGREDIENTS
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
½ cup caramel syrup
rhum or vodka (optional)
PROCEDURE
In a saucepan, caramelize sugar until golden brown, or amber in color. Slowly add water into the syrup. Heat the mixture over medium-high, stirring occasionally until the sugar has dissolved, then add in prepared caramel. Stir until well blended. Flavored with rhum or vodka for added flavor.
