[K] Dissolve yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar in ¼ cup water. Set aside.

[K] To the remaining water, add sugar, salt, oil, half of the flour and the dried herbs to form a soft dough.

[K] Add in yeast mixture and the rest of the flour until dough leaves the side of the bowl.

Transfer dough on a floured surface and knead until dough is smooth and elastic.

[K] Place dough in a greased bowl covered with cling wrap.

Allow dough to rest for 30 minutes or until dough is double in bulk.

[K] Divide the dough into 2. Roll into balls and allow to rest again, this time for 10 minutes.

[K] Roll the balls of dough and arrange on floured trays.

Bake in a preheated 350ᵒF/177ᵒC for 10 minutes.
