Savory Puffed Pancake

  • 1 pack MAYA Original Fluffy ‘N Tasty Hotcake Mix 125g
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 pieces eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons emmenthal cheese, grated
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter


  1. Preheat oven to 400⁰F/204⁰F.
  2. Heat up cast iron skillet over stove top or inside the oven and remove just when ready to use.
  3. In a bowl, mix together hotcake mix, salt, and pepper and set aside. Use a blender machine.
  4. Place together eggs, milk, hotcake mixture and cheese in a blender and process until well blended and smooth.
  5. Pour melted butter onto the hot skillet and pour half of the hotcake mixture.
  6. Bake immediately in the preheated oven until pancake is puffed and golden brown for 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately with your choice of sausages or any toppings of your choice.
