Pan Seared Tuna with Teriyaki Glaze

Teriyaki glaze:
1/4
cup
sake

tablespoons
brown sugar
1/3
cup
soy sauce
2
teaspoons
water

tablespoon
MAYA Cornstarch

tablespoons
water
Instructions
For marinade:
In a clean bowl, mix oyster sauce, soy sauce, lemon juice, sugar, and pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
Marinate tuna steak for 1 to 2 hours.
After marinating the tuna, brush it with oil to retain its moistness.
Sear tuna in a medium size pan, until outside part of the tuna is cooked but not all the way thru.
Brush pan seared tuna with teriyaki glaze. Serve.
For teriyaki glaze:
In a medium size pot, add sake, brown sugar, soy sauce, and 2 teaspoons of water. Let it boil.
Add cornstarch dissolved in 2 tablespoon of water to thicken the glaze.
Reduce the teriyaki glaze until it thickens. Set aside.
