Preheat oven to 350°F/177°C. Grease and line with baking paper the bottom and sides of a 9x9x2-inch square pan. Leave a 2-inch overhang on all sides. Set aside.

(K) Cream the butter in a bowl until soft. Blend in the eggs and water. Add the butter cake and beat with a wooden spoon.

(K) Pour mixture into the prepared pan.

(K) Bake for 30-35 minutes or until done. Do not remove from the pan.
