Japanese chef Seiji Kamura is a regular fixture at the Maya Kitchen, hosting Lifestyle Classes on Japanese Cooking, Knife Skills, as well as authoring several Maya Kitchen cookbooks. He has been a resident of the Philippines for over twenty years, and has been very generous in sharing his country’s authentic cuisine with Filipinos, through the restaurants he owns, and the classes he teaches.
On June 27, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Chef Seiji Kamura will conduct a demo on how to prepare the following dishes:
- Salmon Tataki — Pan Seared Salmon
- Seiro Mushi
- Steamed Beef or Pork Over Mixed Vegetables
- Bulalo Ramen
- Sake Manjyu — Japanese Cake
A modest lunch / food tasting, featuring the menu above, follows soon after.
