Cooling your Cookies on a Rack

Cooling Cookies on a Rack

Cookies! How do you cool them?

You’ve likely noticed that most recipes instruct you to let baked goods cool on a wire rack. When it comes to baking cookies, once removed from the oven, let cookies set for 1-2 minutes on the baking sheet then transfer them directly on the rack, allowing air to circulate under the cookies and cool them quickly. If not transferred, steam won’t be able to escape well, causing the cookies to become soggy.
