Teens’ Culinary Series
This April and May, let your children explore the joys of cooking and baking as The Maya Kitchen offers classes for kids 6-12 years old and teens 13 years old and up.

Young and talented instructor Sabrina Daez is in charge of Teens’ Workshop: Cuisines of the World on April 22 to 25 (Tuesday to Friday) 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Recipes include: ‘Italian Feast’-Beef and Spinach Cannelloni, Chicken and Mushroom Risotto, Cream Puffs, Chocolate Truffles; ‘Along The Coast Of Britain’-Mustard-Grain Pretzel, Fish and Chips, Cream of Pumpkin Soup, Berry-Mango Trifle; ‘The American Superbowl’-Cheese-Stuffed Burgers, Cajun Mojos, Hot Fudge Sauce, Caramel Sauce, Brownie S’mores.

The class fee of Php 7,000 includes apron and toque, handouts, ingredients, snacks and lunch. Each student will receive a certificate. The second batch is on May 20 to 23, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Kids’ Kitchen Adventure
Junior Master Chef Grand Champion Kyle Imao teaches Kids Kitchen Adventure with its first batch on April 8, 10 and 11, (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday), 9:00AM to 2:00PM. The second batch is on May 6 to 9, (Tuesday to Friday) 9:00AM to 12:00 NN.

Young Chefs’ Kitchen

Recipes correspond to school subjects. For math and science: rainbow layer cake, apple pi and strawberries dipped in popping chocolate.

For history: Filipino fried chicken, Filipino style barbecue and Ginataang Halo-halo. Other recipes include Burritos, Kani sandwiches and Chocolate Eclairs.

The class fee of Php 6,000 includes apron and toque, handouts, ingredients, snacks and lunch. Each student will receive a certificate.

Also lined up this May is the Creative Kitchen for Kids.

Have your children get the most out of this summer by enrolling them in these single session classes, made to bring out the little iron chef in them.

May 2 Food, Arts and Crafts – Sugar cookie designing with royal icing, making pancake art
May 16 Dough, Re, Mi – Pretzels and other wonderful things you can make with dough
May 30 Cake Factory – Creating mini cakes and fondant
